Availability

I recently graduated from college and currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to pet care throughout the week. Because I’m doing this full-time, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I love being able to give pets the time, attention, playtime, and companionship they need instead of rushing through visits. I’m also reliable with communication and happy to provide updates and photos so owners always feel comfortable and informed while they’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while in my care. I’m attentive during walks, careful with leash handling, and experienced around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. Working with my own dog, Bruce, has also given me experience reinforcing leash manners, recall, and consistent routines, which has helped me become patient, observant, and confident around dogs. I keep a clean, calm environment with plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, potty breaks, and comfortable places to rest. I also understand how important communication is when trusting someone with your pet, so I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so owners feel comfortable and at ease while they’re away.

Caring for Your Dog Like Family 🐾

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs since I was little and grew up caring for family dogs long before having my own. Being around different breeds, personalities, and energy levels has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make dogs feel safe and comfortable. Now I care for my own dog, Bruce, who’s taught me even more about trust, consistency, and understanding dog behavior. I’ve spent a lot of time working on training, recall, leash manners, and reinforcing good routines with him, which has made me even more attentive and confident around dogs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, leash handling, and making sure dogs feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand how important reliability and communication are, so I’m always happy to provide updates and photos along the way. Spending time with dogs has never felt like a job to me — it’s something I’ve genuinely loved my whole life.

Mark is an absolute dog whisperer. He clearly loves all dogs, all dogs love him, and he quickly reads what each dog needs and how they communicate. He meets the individual needs of each dog in his care. He's not at all intimidated by large or energetic dogs, and perfectly balances letting them play and get their energy out with making sure they're safe and well-mannered. I'm extremely protective of my Pitbull (since not everyone knows how to properly work with a stigmatized breed), and Mark is one of the few people I trust to care for him.
