Availability
As a small business owner Mark is able to move his schedule around based on demand during the week and on weekends we enjoy being off. Sarah spends a portion of her work week remote in the office. We have found a good balance of time to be able to care for 1 to 3 animals at a time and have had a great experience.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a decent sized wooded lot in a quiet area in north Fuquay. When we bought the home we were sold on the perfect back yard for our dogs and outfitted the indoor and outdoor space to meet their needs. We would love to share this space with your four-legged family members.

Information Mark & Sarah W. would like to know about your pet
We do have 2 children in the house who are very adaptable with all animals but they are still children. We ask that your dog not have a history of biting or being aggressive towards children prior to booking. Disclosures: Accidents happen, however if a pet excessively uses the bathroom in our home we require a cleaning fee consistent with their damage. Please disclose any information regarding aggression or history of damaging property or destroying things so we may take that into consideration prior to booking. We reserve the right to provide reasonable notice and end a booking early should a pet become aggressive or damage our home. Thank you!
A typical day
We are early risers, and like most families have much to do in the morning. We incorporate our guests into the mix of our routine. We are able to do early morning walks if that is what they need or we can let them veg out if they would rather do that. Someone is home most of the day and we wind down around 9pm. We very much try to incorporate the pets into our day to day and treat them like our own. When the weather is nice we spend most of our time outside. We have found most dogs enjoy all the shade and wide open space.

Pet care experience
We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) who have had plethora of dogs and cats, ranging from rescues to large purebred breeds. About 2 years ago, our 2 rescues who we rehabilitated ourselves crossed the rainbow bridge. While we aren’t ready to have our own just quite yet, we have found caring for others pets very rewarding and fun and look forward to meeting your fur babies.

Reviews

Wonderful family! Sarah was excellent and took excellent care of our labradoodle. Would happily recommend to anyone seeking attentive and loving family to care for their pet.

Sarah is so nice and welcoming! She was great at communicating during Murphy's visit and I loved getting her pictures and updates throughout.

Our first time using Rover and Sarah was top notch! She took wonderful care of our pup, kept us informed on daily activities and sent pictures and videos. Felt very comfortable with our pup in Sarah's care, and will definitely contact for our future needs.

Sarah and Mark did an excellent job with our huge dog. Kept in touch and sent message and photo updates throughout our trip. Our dog can get sad and mopey when we aren't around. But she had plenty of playmates to play or watch play during her stay, so there was no time to miss us. She was happy and well cared for and came home exhausted.
