About this sitter: Very pet friendly dog and cat companion. Recently relocated to the Gainesville area after many years on the West Coast and several years in the Baltimore/DC/NoVA area. I've lived all over in a few dog and cat-filled households, my own dog Chaya (who passed away 12 years ago) being one of the many pets filling the homes. Three years ago I was joined by my new fur baby, Anubis, but I would like to share my gratitude for animal companionship by caring for your pets that need a little extra attention and love! When I'm caring for your animals, they always receive my full prioritized attention. I've volunteered in pet shelters as well caring for previously abused and neglected animals.

I have known Mark to be an attentive and respectful handler of dogs, cats and birds. He is a good-humored, patient man and I've seen handle a few crazy puppies with grace!
Mark is great with animals and I'd trust him with my cat any day. I'd trust him with my goats if I had any goats. Manatee are tricky just from a logistical perspective, what with the raw tonnage and penchant for the marine lifestyle, but I'd definitely consider it.
Mark is one of the best pet owners I know! He has always had pets, grown up with pets and loves to be around animals and they love him right back! I would definitely recommend him as a dog walker/pet sitter and he would be my first choice to babysit my doggie who is like a daughter.
I have had many pets: three cats who have passed from old age, and two current cats. My cats have always been drawn to Mark the minute they meet him because they can sense he is an animal person. He is gentle and understanding of a pet's needs. He is also fun and entertaining to pets. He has had dogs and cats and have cared for them like children. He knows what to do in any situation, and he truly enjoys his times with pets. I would always recommend Mark to care for my pets.
