Mark was absolutely fantastic with Bella. He had her for ten days and kept us updated regularly and went above and beyond in arranging to pick her up. I cannot rate him highly enough. Bella has come home not bothered we have been away so that’s the biggest compliment. Thanks mark

Really happy with the care Eve got from Mark while I was away. It was such a relief knowing she was being looked after by someone so kind and reliable. I got regular updates, of Eve from Mark which really put my mind at ease, and it was obvious Eve was getting lots of love attention and care. When I came back, she was so happy and settled,I think she missing him already. Thanks again for taking such great care of Eve.

Mark has been great with my Nyla. He a calm to the storm of my dog, as she's energetic, can be needy, even though she's adorable 😊 She met his kids, which they wanted to keep her lol. I'm glad I have someone who I can trust to manage her tempermant & give her what she need (outside with her ball thrower) 😅 I'm happy for more overnight sittings while I am at work, as it's hard to find people who are good for your dog who you love and want to be treated well while you're away!

Mark was so great with dolly! He was able to take her with only a couple weeks notice after our previous sitter had to cancel. He was really quick to reply to messages, and sent loads of adorable updates while we were away! Dolly was so well looked after and he took her on loads of great long walks. Will definitely book again in future :)

Schedule

I can easily fit dog sitting into my routine because of my flexible work schedule and the fact that my partner works from home full-time. I work at the airport on a rotating 5 days on, 3 days off schedule, with shifts from either 4:30 am–1:30 pm or 12:30 pm–9:30 pm. This means I’m always home early in the day or have the whole morning free, giving me plenty of time to care for a dog. On top of that, my partner is always home during the day, so the dog would never be left unattended. Between my early finishes, days off, and our consistent presence at home, we can provide a reliable, structured, and loving environment for a dog.

Safety, trust & environment

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love being around them. Having a dog’s company in my home is something I truly enjoy, and I believe it’s a much more comfortable and reassuring option than kennels. My home has a large, secure back garden where dogs can happily roam in and out as they please, and I’m also perfectly placed for walks—living right across from a park and just five minutes from Heaton Park. With so much space and plenty of opportunity for exercise, dogs in my care are guaranteed both comfort and adventure.

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, happy, and entertained! Depending on their personality and energy level, we might go for walks around the park, play fetch in the garden, or have a fun tug-of-war session. For more relaxed pets, I enjoy gentle cuddle time, brushing, or puzzle toys to keep their minds engaged. I always make sure each pet gets the kind of fun they enjoy most — whether that’s exploring outside, learning new tricks, or simply soaking up some love and attention

It’s helpful for me to know as much as possible about your pet’s personality and routine before we spend time together! Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medical conditions, or medications. I’d also love to know about their energy level, favorite activities, triggers or fears (like loud noises or other dogs), and how they do on walks or around new people and animals. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
