I have been a dog owner for the past 15 years and have been watching friends and relatives dogs the past 12 years. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs of all sizes. My specialties are dog walks and playtime! I’m up for multiple walks per day and fetch at the dog park if that’s what your dog needs to keep them happy!

Mark has boarded Gretchen a few times starting at 7mos. Now she is 2 1/2 with her own agenda… this past visit she seemed unsettled in the beginning and wouldn’t eat ( my mistake, I sent just dry kibble when I routinely add homemade food, hoping it would be easier and she’d eat) but no…Mark has always been great at communicating, thankfully, and he doctored up her food a little after checking with us! So that worked… now I know… thank you Mark, for such amazing care and concern as is typical from our previous experiences!

Another successful stay with Mark. His extra touches of walks and carrot snacks are always appreciated! And his flexibility with my drop off and pick up times. Most of the time I have no control of pick up so I appreciate his understanding! It’s definitely not unnoticed!

I work Monday-Thursday so my availability during the week is limited, but I am perfect for watching your dogs for long weekends. I can always try to make other arrangements Monday-Thursday to accommodate so feel free to ask.

I have a fenced in backyard with turfed yard. My 3 dogs love to play with new dogs in the backyard. I have two large and one medium crate if your dogs require crating and the dogs will have access to the doggie door for bathroom breaks. I won’t leave your dog unattended and will always be at home with them during their stay. They will not be kept in a garage or outside. They will get access to any bed or couch they want! Their safety, well being, and happiness is my #1 priority.

A typical day
I’ll take the dogs to a large park by the house for daily walks to make sure they get plenty of exercise. If longer walks are needed we love to go to some nearby trails. There is also a very nice dog park nearby that my dogs and I frequent - great people and no aggressive dogs - that we can visit with your permission. We will play fetch, tug of war, or just let the dogs run. I’m always conscious of the heat and plan walks and exercise around it.

- All dogs are welcome as long as they are house trained, up to date on all shots, and show no aggression around other dogs. Let me know of any special needs (food allergies, diet, etc) or extra care requirements your dog may have and I will care for them like my own. If they require crating or separation, please let me know in advance.
