Teacher on Summer Break Dog Lover

Greetings! I am a dog lover through and through. I have spent my life around dogs and understand that all dogs are special and have different needs. I grew up with a golden doodle (Dude), but have taken care of dogs for family and friends including a pappillon (Lulu), shiba inu (Foxy), german shepherd (Ozzy), rottweiler (Polly Pocket) and for the last 10 years, my beloved pitbull (Lola) who passed away this past April. I'm excited to take care of your dog! Here are some things that set me apart: 1. I only take one client at a time. I want to make sure your dog is treated like royalty at my house. I will take multiple dogs from the same household, but otherwise, will just watch one dog at a time. 2. I'm a teacher, so I'm home for the summer and I'm around A LOT. This will include consistent supervision (aka as many belly rubs as your dog will allow), flexibility with logistics, and fantastic care all around 3. I have a fenced-in back area at my house that is great for sunbathing, getting some fresh air, and even some fetch 4. I live a 5 minute walk from Wissahickon Park; I would love to take your dog for walks there if they're up for it! 5. I take all breeds of dogs! I offer a calm, loving home to your dog with clear and consistent communication. I hope that this allows you to travel with the peace of mind that your furry friend is in good hands while you are away!

Mark provided updates about Summer's care daily while she stayed with him. He and his wife provided lots of stimulating walks and play, which our dog loved. Will definitely rebook again in the future.

I cannot think of a better caregiver for pets than Mark. He has been a loving, caring pet owner for many years and proper care of pets is his number one priority. He has taken care of my large golden doodle on many occasions, and I knew I never had to worry when my dog was in Mark's care. He is extremely conscientious about his care for pets. He is very energetic and loves taking long walks with dogs and playing with them. He will give them all the love, attention and care they require. In short, you will never find anyone more trustworthy and caring than Mark.

Mark is one of the most thoughtful and caring pet parents I have ever met, the way that he loved and prioritized his late dog Lola always blew me away. He also was able to win over the trust and comfort of my 9 year old reactive rescue Rottweiler almost instantly, putting her at ease and showing that he would respect her boundaries and pace. Any dog owner would be lucky to have Mark walk or care for their furry family member!

Mark is the perfect Rover. He is responsible and dependable, and he absolutely loves dogs. His commitment to making dogs (and their people) happy is unparalleled. He has watched my dogs several times and we call it “Camp Mark” because they always have so much fun with him. I can travel or have a night out with no stress when Mark has my pups. I know your dogs will love him too!
