While I do not currently have pets, I have had both dogs and cats most of my adult life. I always loved taking my dogs out, playing with them, hiking with them, even cross country skiing with them! Of course, it was also nice to curl up with them in front of the fireplace for some hugging and petting. My pets were always a part of the family, and we always tried to include them in everything we did. My belief is that dogs and cats are sensitive and intelligent creatures, and I will always treat them as such.
