I've had pets or lived in homes with pets for most of my life, starting when I was a teenager, so caring for and sharing space with animals has always been a natural part of my everyday life. Over the years, I've become comfortable with the different personalities, routines, and needs that come with sharing a home with animals. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know their individual habits and temperament rather than treating every animal the same. I'm attentive to the little things that help pets feel comfortable and secure—keeping to their normal routines, giving them plenty of affection and attention, and making sure they have the care and companionship they need while their people are away. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are doing well. Above all, I treat caring for someone's pet as a responsibility I take seriously. My goal is for your and your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you're away.

Whether I'm caring for your pets in your home or taking them out for a walk, safety comes first. I take the time to understand each pet's personality, routine, and boundaries, and I'll follow your instructions carefully. When house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want from someone staying in mine. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep things clean and tidy and in their place, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual or out of the ordinary. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the booking, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pets are happy and doing well. If I notice anything concerning, I'll let you know promptly rather than assuming it's nothing. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing that your pets—and your home—are in good hands while you're away.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can be available when your pets need me. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, and for house sitting I'm able to spend much of the day at your home with your pets rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Whether your dog needs a good walk, your cat needs some company and a little playtime, or your pets simply need someone around while you're away, I'm happy to work their normal routines into my day. I'll take the time to understand what each pet is used to and make sure they get the care, exercise, attention, and companionship they need.
