Pet care experience

No need to worry.

I will continue your ways of interacting with your dogs. I will tailor my approach to your fur baby. I am experienced in the delicate handling of senior pets, including mobility assistance, administering oral or topical medications, and monitoring for subtle changes in health or behavior. For young pets, I reinforce your specific training cues and house-breaking routines to ensure consistency while you're away, helping them stay on track with their development. I use positive reinforcement and a calm energy to manage high-anxiety pets or those who are easily overstimulated, ensuring they feel safe and secure. I’ll send you consistent updates and photos so you can see exactly how your pet is thriving, giving you total peace of mind. Would you like to discuss a custom care plan or schedule a meet-and-greet to see how I interact with your pet? I've been around dogs all my life and will treat your pet like I treat my own. We don't deserve the love they bring and give out unconditionally.

Do you want your pets to feel so at home and comfortable that they are upset when they leave? Mark's house is the place to be! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail. With his knowledge and experience with German Shepherds, it really shined in the care he provided them! I would definitely recommend Mark, and especially recommend Mark to people with German Shepherds or working line dogs! We and our babies would love to use Mark again!

I am pleased to provide this recommendation for Mark. He demonstrates a high level of professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for animals, making him exceptionally well-suited for both dog walking and overall pet caregiving responsibilities. In addition to his strong work ethic and dependability, Mark brings an impressive background in canine handling and training. He is trained in obedience and behavioral development, with advanced knowledge in the handling and care of working dogs. His ability to read canine behavior, reinforce positive training techniques, and maintain control in a variety of situations sets him apart from others in the field. Mark is also highly capable in the care of cats and understands the differences in their behavior and needs. He is attentive to feeding routines, litter maintenance, and creating a calm, safe environment. His patience and awareness allow him to care for cats with varying temperaments, including those that may be shy or require a more gradual approach. He consistently prioritizes the safety, well-being, and individual needs of each animal in his care. Whether providing exercise, maintaining routines, or offering attentive companionship, he approaches each responsibility with professionalism and dedication. His communication with pet owners is clear and consistent, providing reassurance that pets are being cared for with expertise and attention. I confidently recommend Mark for any dog walking or pet caregiving role.

I have known Mark for over thirty-years. I have found Mark to be generous, dependable and hard working. I originally met him in the law enforcement community where he performed with extinction and with the utmost integrity. In the years that I have known Mark he has raised and worked with dogs. As a pet owner and a K-9 officer he has become familiar with healthy dog care principles and positive training techniques in order to raise happy, healthy and behaviorally sound dogs. I think Mark would be a tremendous asset to the Rover.com community.
