Trusted, Loving Care for Your Dog – Just Like Home
I’ve been a dog owner since I was 12 years old. Back in Ireland, I had two wonderful dogs—one rescue and one Cavachon—who live with my parents after I moved to London a couple of years ago. My wife, Deirdre, also grew up with a family dog, another Cavachon named Ralph, before joining me here. We truly miss having dogs around and would love to help others with their midweek dog-minding needs while enjoying some furry companionship at home.

My Commie had a great time with Mark. He was very nice to her and she felt like at home with him. I will definitely have Mark taking care of my girl again. He’s amazing!

Mark was brilliant - my pooch Nero went to stay with him for a day and a night and came back very happy. Mark was very communicative and punctual, sending pictures throughout the day of what he and Nero were up to. I couldn’t recommend Mark highly enough!

Schedule
I currently work full-time but have the flexibility to work from home 3-4 days per week, which allows me to provide regular care and companionship for dogs during the day. My work-from-home days create the perfect opportunity for walks, playtime, and supervision, ensuring that any dog in my care is well looked after. My daily routine includes morning and lunchtime walks, along with plenty of interaction throughout the day. In the evenings, I have more time for longer walks and relaxed downtime. This setup allows me to provide a safe, structured, and caring environment for dogs while fitting pet care naturally into my schedule.

Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are our top priorities when caring for dogs. In our home, we will provide a calm, pet-friendly space where dogs can relax and feel at ease. We ensure they get plenty of attention, walks, and playtime while sticking to their usual routines as closely as possible. We understand how important trust is, so we take the time to get to know each dog and their needs, following any specific instructions from their owners. Whether in our home or yours, we always prioritise a safe and loving environment, treating every dog as if they were our own. We have a walled in small back garden if your dogs needs any fresh air.
A typical day
I love having a dog around the house—it brings so much energy and joy to my day. Whether it’s a lunchtime stroll or an evening walk after work, I always enjoy getting outside with a dog by my side. It’s the perfect way to unwind, get some fresh air, and enjoy a bit of playtime.
