I work full time from home during the week on a fully flexible schedule. I can essentially take breaks from work whenever I need throughout the day to attend to any errands or responsibilities on my schedule, pet care included. I am generally pretty free in the evenings & weekends.

I am a young, agile and strong pet lover who can adapt to the animal I am with. For bigger more domineering animals I am comfortable taking care of them & for more docile pet I can be a delicate gentle teddy bear as well!
Information Mark D. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know any special conditions or instructions that pertain to a particular pet. Certain things they can’t do or have trouble with should be noted so they are avoided if possible. I also like to know what a pet loves to do so i can spend more time on those types of activities. All around i also think it’s important to get a sense of the personality of each individual pet so they are always comfortable and feel at home as much as possible.
A typical day
I love to play with pets in a variety of ways. Every pet is different and each one likes certain activities or toys more than another pet. I think identifying the best activities that suit a particular pet is something that comes fairly naturally to me, and i enjoy the challenge of seeing if a pet likes to run around in the yard more, play with toys in the house more, or somewhere in the middle. Outdoor activists can include fetch, play chasing, running around, and anything else that’s spontaneous but safe. Indoor activists can include chew toys, pet puzzles that stimulate the brain and other animal toys that the pet takes a liking to.

Pet care experience
I’ve owned and taken care of pets for most of my life. Growing up my family has had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and even a cockatiel. I’ve house sat and dog sat multiple times and come away with a new best friend each time.
Reviews

We had a fantastic experience with our in-home dog sitter, Mark. He took great care of Gizmo, and we felt completely relaxed while we were away knowing everything was in good hands. His communication was excellent throughout—regular updates and check-ins gave us real peace of mind. Gizmo was clearly happy and well cared for when we got back, and our home was left in pristine condition. We wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.

Mark did a great job sitting for our dogs over the Christmas break.

Professional, reliable, and flexible to work with. Mark was great and most importantly, the dogs loved him.
Mark was great with our two dogs. The house was spotless and I would highly recommend!
