Hi, I’m Mark! I’ve always had a love for dogs and previously had a dog named Storm, who was my baby. Caring for Storm made me realize how important it is to give pets the attention, care, and love they deserve. Although I had to give her away, my experience with her taught me a lot about responsibility and the joy dogs bring. I’m excited to offer my services on Rover, ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walking, sitting, or playing, I’m here to make sure your pets have the best experience. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

Information Mark C. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care possible, I like to know a few important details about your pet ahead of time. It’s helpful to understand their daily routine, energy levels, and any special needs they might have, such as medications or dietary restrictions. Please let me know about any behavioral quirks—like if they’re shy around new people, anxious in certain situations, or if there are any triggers they may react to. Knowing your pet’s preferences for walks, playtime, and interaction is also helpful, as well as how they typically behave around other dogs or animals. The more I know, the better I can tailor their care to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy!
A typical day
A typical day with your pet starts with plenty of exercise and attention. We’ll kick things off with a morning walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. After that, there’s time for play, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever your dog enjoys most. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure they have plenty of water, food (as per your feeding schedule), and, of course, lots of love and cuddles. I like to incorporate some mental stimulation with toys or puzzles to keep their minds active, and I’ll make sure they get regular bathroom breaks and downtime to relax. If they need some extra attention, such as medications or special care, I’ll make sure those needs are met as well. At the end of the day, we’ll wind down with a peaceful evening walk, ensuring your dog is happy, healthy, and ready to relax.

Pet care experience
I had a dog named Storm, who was my baby and taught me so much about pet care and responsibility. From regular walks to making sure she felt loved and comfortable, I became familiar with what it takes to care for a dog. My experience with Storm gave me a deep understanding of a dog’s needs, including feeding, grooming, and ensuring they feel safe and happy. I’m excited to bring that same level of care and attention to your pets, treating them as if they were my own.
Reviews
Mark was absolutely amazing! He took care of my three pups—Lola, Kojo, and Louie—while I was away for the holiday, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. He kept me updated with pictures and little notes, which made being away from them so much easier. Lola, Kojo, and Louie clearly adored him, and I could tell they were happy, comfortable, and well-loved when I got home. It’s such a relief knowing my fur babies are in such good hands. Thank you so much, Mark, for treating them like your own! I’ll definitely be reaching out to you next time I’m away.
I couldn't be more grateful for finding Mark on Rover! He took exceptional care of my dog while I was away, and it was clear from the start that he genuinely loves animals and spending time outdoors. Mark’s communication was excellent—he kept me updated with pictures of their walks and playtime in nature, which put me at ease. He’s incredibly trustworthy and responsible, and my dog instantly warmed up to him (which isn’t always the case!). Mark went above and beyond by giving my pup extra attention and ensuring she was happy and comfortable throughout her stay. I can confidently say that Mark isn’t just a pet sitter—he will treat your pet like family. Mark is the one to book if you're looking for someone who truly cares and will provide top-notch care!
