Mark is a gem when it comes to pet care! I recently entrusted my timid dog, Thumper, to Mark and I couldn't have been more impressed. My dog is usually a little nervous in new environments and around new people, but Mark went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at ease in his home. From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell Mark genuinely cared about creating a safe and welcoming space. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to understand Thumper's personality and needs. Throughout the stay, he kept me updated with photos and messages, showing me how happy and relaxed my dog was—a huge relief for any pet owner! When I picked Thumper up, he was calm and content, which spoke volumes about the care and attention he received. I highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a compassionate, reliable, and skilled pet sitter.

If I could give Mark 10 stars I would. Kind, responsible and caring- Mark really went out of his way to make sure my dogs’ routines were consistent so they weren’t anxious the whole trip. Which means I wasn’t anxious during my trip! Would and will use him again. Best dog/house sitter I’ve ever used.
Mark was great with our almost sixteen year old husky mix. She needs three pills a day and sometimes it’s hard to get her to take them. Mark was up for the challenge.
I have known Mark for 2 years and have always known him to be very pleasant. One weekend in Idyllwild I was in need of a pet sitter so I asked Mark if he would be interested in staying at my cabin and taking care of my dogs, which he did. He was better than I imagined. He was so kind and attentive to them, walking them several times a day, playing with them, taught them a new command, and sent me photos and updates daily. By the time I got home my dogs adored him, and my cabin was spotless. I couldn't have been happier. Mark is a caring, polite, and honest individual, and I highly recommend him to be your pet and home sitter. You will not be disappointed.
I have used Mark as my cat-sitter for several years. He is extremely reliable and my cat loves him. I never have to worry about if he will show up, and if my cat is being cared for when I'm away. Highly recommended. I know he does dogs, too, for another person I know, and they seem very happy with him as well.

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to spend quality time with your pets. I am at your home most of the day, only stepping out briefly for errands or occasional social engagements.

I spend most of the day with your pets in the comfort of their home, helping them feel safe and relaxed. Daily walks are a priority for dogs in good physical condition, and for pets who prefer to stay close to home, I offer companionship, attention, and care throughout the day.
A typical day
Each day is tailored to your pet’s needs. For dogs in good physical condition, I enjoy two walks a day, at least 30 minutes each. The rest of the time is spent providing companionship, play, and gentle care in the comfort of their home. Note: Desert summers restricted to one early morning for safety.
