Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine, especially with my pet. Every morning, I make sure she’s fed and has fresh water, starting my day with a little moment for her. During work-from-home days, I take breaks to check on her, give her attention, and sometimes play a bit. In the evenings, I often spend time grooming her, which feels like a calming ritual. Weekends might include a visit to the vet for any check-ups, or just extra time together, which strengthens the bond we have. It’s all about balancing my responsibilities with the joy she brings.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets, whether in my own home or someone else’s, I always prioritize safety, trust, and creating a positive environment. Ensuring that the space is safe for them—by removing any hazards and securing dangerous items—is a non-negotiable first step. I aim to create a space where pets can feel comfortable and secure, with cozy spots for them to relax and plenty of room to play or explore. Building trust is at the heart of my approach. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs, whether it’s sticking to their feeding schedule, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise, or providing companionship when they need it. Consistency and patience go a long way in making them feel comfortable and safe. Above all, I value empathy. Pets, just like humans, thrive in environments where they feel cared for and understood. Whether I’m caring for my own pet or a client’s, my goal is to foster a sense of security and well-being, knowing that I’m contributing to their happiness and peace of mind.

We remained our young, gentle, but untrained and unpredictable boy (golden retriver) with Mark. And it was best decision! Utah spent great time and we were calm that he was in best hands! Thanks a lot Mark! You have a big soul and heart! ❤️

Mark watched my elder dog, Bear, for two weeks while I was out of the country, and I could tell from picking up Bear that it was a great choice. Bear was calm, well-groomed and seemed to have a great time while I was away. The first couple days Mark watched him, Bear was recovering from a minor surgery on his eyelid, and it was clear Mark did a good job of applying the medicine, as it was entirely healed up by the time I was back. I got regular updates and pictures while I was away, and communication was smooth the whole way through. I’d highly recommend Mark for your petsitting needs and would gladly gire him again!
