Information Mark and Vicky H. would like to know about your pet
Tell us about your dog’s personality. Do they like other dogs or children? Tell us about your normal daily routine. Is it ok if they ride in our car? We can accommodate small sized dogs (up to 22 pounds) who are non-aggressive. We prefer dogs that are trained to go outside but can accommodate dogs that are trained to use potty pads. It is important that they can get along with other dogs. We would expect your dog to arrive clean, flea free and having had their proper shots.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a pleasant walk-able residential neighborhood for safe and interesting walks. There is also a nearby park and a good size fenced yard for additional safe play time, where we are always in attendance. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep in the bedroom area with us. We generally do not crate unless that is what you normally do. Time I'll spend with your dog We are home bodies available 24 hours per day, Vicky works from home and Mark is retired, and are available most weekends and holidays. There’s plenty of time for play, walks and petting!

In memory of our dog Gracie we are offering our service as a Bed and Breakfast style dog retreat. Our home is a calm and happy place. As your hosts we are dedicated to the comfort and care of your pets. We want to know all about your preferences in order to make the stay just to your liking. Our house is clean and comfortable. The back yard is fenced. Our guests are welcome to sit on the furniture and we know they will enjoy the view! Why I love dog sitting We have both loved dogs since we were pups! We’ve had as many as three dogs at a time and they were always considered members of the family. About my yard The backyard is fenced. A large deck overlooks a chemical free lawn. It’s a great place to explore and play ball! My experience administering medication Yes, if your dog will allow it. We can have a practice session with owners present to see how it goes.

Gracie’s Bed and Biscuit exceeded our expectations. Mark and Vicky truly love dogs and it shows! We have a senior rescue that we have had less than a year. We were nervous about leaving him because he was abandoned by his previous human, and became quite the “Velcro dog” with us. We quickly discovered there was nothing to worry about. He soon figured out he was at a good place and settled right in. In fact, when we went to pick him up after our trip, he didn’t seem all that anxious to leave. LOL The daily communication was wonderful. It was so good to see that our little guy was comfortable. We would highly recommend Mark and Vicky for your dog sitting needs.
Vicky and Mark provided exemplary care for our senior boy. Stayed in constant contact, sent photos, reached out as necessary. I felt he was in the best hands with Vicky and Mark especially as he has multiple medical issues and travels with a “pharmacy” of medications. They were simply undaunted by his complex medical needs, providing the best of care. Highly recommend.
