Your dog's second best friend!
Hello, I'm Marjorie! Dogs have always been a part of my family. I'm one of those annoying people on the street who just HAS to say hi to your dog when you're trying to mind your own business and walk them. They are so special, sweet and they truly make our lives better. In the past, I have worked as a full-time dog walker. I have owned dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs. Tessie, an 8 year old Cattle Dog Mix and Norman, a 5 year old yellow lab. While they are best friends, they're always open to making new ones! We love hikes, swimming and fetch. Depending on your location and your pups preferences, I could take your pup for a leashed walk out your front door or drive to a wooded trail or beach for more adventure. I could bring one or both my dogs for playtime or socialization if you request, or leave them behind! I also have a fenced in yard where they could come hang out for a couple hours, like a play date if you wanted more than just a walk/short visit. I'm flexible to fit your pups needs. I absolutely adore dogs and they deserve to have the best day, every day.

Marjorie was clearly amazing with dogs, responsible and communicative. She went above and beyond to make sure feel reassured and comfortable leaving her overnight with a new person for the first time. Winnie had a blast with her and her dogs!

My wife and I are so happy to have found Marjorie! We have a 5 month old puppy and only live a couple of miles away. When we got this new puppy we wanted to find someone that our dog would be excited to go stay with occasionally while not having to always ask friends & family if they were available to take him- and we have found just that! Our puppy loved playing with Marjoie's dog Lucy and not only will we be comfortable with our dog staying there again, we will be excited for him to stay there. :)
Marjorie was absolutely great! Our booking was last minute, our plans changed during the visit time, Marjorie was always accessible and totally accommodating and it worked out great for Aang and for us.

Schedule
I am a full time Firefighter/EMT. My schedule does rotate but generally I have flexible availability throughout the week on days I am not working.

I have a fenced in yard and two pups of my own who are friendly and always want to make new friends. While I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed, if you have different rules at home and prefer they abide by them, I will respect that.
Pets
A typical day
We will go for walks on wooded trails and dog friendly beaches. Play time and fetch in our fenced in yard! Lots of cuddles and affection if that is something your dog appreciates.
