Pet care is a consistent and valued part of my routine. During the school year, I offer reliable evening and weekend availability, ideal for dinner-time visits and check-ins. In the summer (late June–August), I expand to weekday availability as well. As a teacher, I’m naturally punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented, so you can count on consistent, high-quality care and clear communication every visit.

What truly sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets, I care for them the same way I care for my own. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have five pets of my own, ranging in age from 1 to 16 years old. This has given me hands-on experience with everything from energetic young pets to senior animals who need extra patience, gentleness, and attention to detail. I’m especially comfortable with: • Senior pet care (slower walks, medications, extra monitoring, gentle handling) • Understanding different temperaments (shy cats, high-energy dogs, routine-driven pets) • Maintaining routines so pets feel safe and stress-free while you’re away As a teacher and mom of 3, I’m naturally responsible, organized, and detail-oriented, which means I follow instructions carefully and communicate clearly. You can expect consistent updates, reliability, and a calm, patient approach with your pets. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals. I take the time to build trust with each pet and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved, because I know they’re family.

Margie is kind and caring and loves animals! She is the type of person that will see a stray animal on the side of the road and bring it home to make it her pet. She loves her pets and treats them like they are part of her family and she will love and take care of your pets the same way. She is trustworthy and punctual.
