Pursuing my dreams of having a pet care business. I provide daily drop in visits for all animals and dog walking services. Originally I started out with my regular grooming clients and then decided to continue on my own. I also have 1 dog at home that I use to take with me to my previous job at a small business. I eventually became burned out of having constantly overbooked and stressful work days that I am now grooming part time for myself. I can offer services like nail trimming/grinding, brush outs, toothbrushing etc if needed.

I have always considered my animals part of the family so I will care for your pets like they are my own. My first priority is the mental and physical well being of your pet. In the clients home I will do whatever is asked and maintain schedules set in place for your animal. If you are away on vacation or simply just at work, know that with my expertise in pet care they will be in good hands.

Please let me know if there are any special requirements to help keep your pet as stress free as possible. It’s always good to know what your pet loves and doesn’t prefer so please inform me of your pets preferences and if they have forms of anxiety (fear of thunderstorms, loud sounds, separation, etc). I would truly appreciate it. It’s also good to know if your dog tends to be more reactive towards other animals when out walking for safety purposes.

I love being around animals so as long as I can be there for them thats always great. Cuddle parties and snuggles are the best if your pet prefers that…large lap dogs welcomed! I love taking pictures with my furry friends and creating positive experiences with them. My goal is to always make them as happy and comfortable as possible with playing, taking all the walks, and treats that they can possibly want.

14 years of extensive professional pet care experience. I am also certified in Pet Professional First Aid & CPR as well as dog grooming. Being a compassionate dog groomer, I only want what is best for them. From a young age, I would help my mom with taking care of all our animals (min schnauzers, boxers, bulldogs, anoles, cats and fish) and I also grew up around horses. My love for animals would one day move me towards a future working with them. I took a job being a pet care specialist at a corporation where my passion for animals grew even more. I was able to work with small animals, birds, reptiles/ amphibians and fish as well. I would go on to getting experience through a veterinary hospital and a small grooming business. Over the years I have cared for and worked with many different dog breeds with a variety of temperaments, ages, special needs and fur types. I can’t wait to meet so many more sweet hearts here on Rover and excited to explore this new chapter of my life.

Mariza was wonderful! At our initial meet & greet, I instantly felt comfortable leaving my dog in her care. Mariza really took the time to get know her and made sure that Kaya was comfortable with her. She provided a lot of details and photos each time she walked her. She even let me know when she had concerns about some redness developing on her skin. You can tell she really loves and cares about all animals. I would definitely book Mariza again and recommend her to anyone! 🫶
