Maritza is amazing! Our dog had the best time with her and she was well loved and cared for. She treated our dog like part of her family! She sent lots of photos and updates each day. She was also very flexible with pickup time when our flight was delayed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maritza. I don't think our dog was ready to come home because she loved staying with Maritza!
I can't express how amazing Maritza was with my yellow lab! she took her on multiple walks a day, updated me at least twice a day, and had a great backyard and neighborhood to take her for walks on. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her family. she was very loved while she was there!
I felt my pup Cali was in great hands after meeting Maritza and talking to her about her care style. She kept in constant communication and sent lots of updates with pictures. I really appreciated her care and attention to taking good care of my pup while I was gone for a night. I’ll definitely use her again. Thank you!
Maritzia is truly the best dogsitter we’ve booked on Rover so far. She treated our dog Nike like a member of her own family and took incredible care of him, especially given Nike’s specific food and health needs. She also sent so many pictures and thorough, detailed updates throughout the day—sweet descriptions, check-ins, and little highlights that made us feel totally connected and reassured the whole time. We felt completely at ease knowing Nike was in such attentive, loving hands. We’re so grateful for her and would 100% book with her again—highly recommend!

Hi, my name is Maritza. My family and I are a loving household of five now, 3 kids, my husband and I. (April our sweet daughter crossed the rainbow bridge on April 13 at the age of 12) I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, having cared for dogs, and cats over the years. My love for animals is deeply and they have always been a significant part of my daily life. My husband works three days a week in Belleville and spends the remaining two days working from home. I am currently a stay home mom, so one of us is always home with your pup. Our home is designed to provide a secure, clean, and welcoming environment. We offer personalized attention, engaging playtime, socialization, and plenty of fresh air. Our fully fenced backyard is divided into two sections one with natural grass and the other with synthetic grass allowing dogs to choose the surface they prefer. Most of the time I only accept “One dog at a time” for boarding or two if they are from the same family because I believe in providing the highest level of personalized care. By focusing on just one pup, I can ensure they receive my full attention, a stress free environment, and the individualized care they deserve. This approach allows me to cater to their unique needs, maintain a calm and comfortable atmosphere, and create a truly positive experience for all of us.

Inside, our home is spacious, allowing dogs to move freely between rooms. We believe in providing a comfortable and home like experience, so we do not use crates unless specifically requested by owners. We want every dog to feel at ease and as if they are part of our family. Our Neighborhood!! We live in a beautiful, clean/safe neighborhood with scenic walking paths and numerous trails. Beautiful roads and parks. We are also close to the Soaring Eagle Forest Trail, which we visit pretty often with April. Additionally, several trails connect our neighborhood to others, providing plenty of opportunities for exploration. I’ll keep you updated with daily pictures or videos so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away. Potty Trained Dogs Only: To maintain a clean and stress-free environment, I only accept potty-trained dogs.

I will take them on daily walks, play with them in our backyard ensuring that any dog in my care receives plenty of fresh air and exercise. We prioritize providing each pet with the love, attention, and appropriate level of activity they need to feel comfortable and happy. As a family, we are passionate about the outdoors and frequently hike, explore nearby forests, and visit local lakes, including Lake Sammamish, Pine Lake, and Beaver Lake. Any dog staying with us becomes part of our family and is welcome to join in our adventures. I will send you lots of pictures and videos of their stay, with a description of how your pup is doing under my care.. please forgive me if I send too many ❤️🥰.
