I've been taking care of dogs since the age of thirteen — walking, feeding, and boarding a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I've done extensive training and attended puppy classes, learning how to properly balance play and discipline. I trained both of my Golden Retrievers, and they each received the Canine Good Citizen award. With over 30 years of experience, I have a deep understanding of animals — how they think, what they need, and how to keep them happy and safe in my care.

Maritza was amazing! She watched Biscoff the day of our engagement party and even dropped him off at our venue afterward, which was incredibly convenient. Since we were drinking at our event, it saved us so much time and the hassle of figuring out transportation for him. She was so sweet, reliable and easy to work with. We really appreciated her going the extra mile and would definitely book with Maritza again!
Maritza was absolutely wonderful! She is super nice and caring. We actually did a meet & greet with her awhile back for our engagement party sitting, so it was great to have her watch Biscoff from 6:30–11:30 PM while we went out to dinner. She took great care of him and kept us updated while we were away. We came home to a happy pup and would definitely book with Maritza again!

Schedule
I currently work from home part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. Your pup will have a human companion at all times — and plenty of belly rubs to go around.

Safety, trust & environment
I keep your pet active and engaged in a safe, secure setting. We have sidewalks nearby and a dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. My fenced-in backyard has three gate entrances, all secured with locks, and dogs are never left outside unattended. We also have cameras both inside and outside the house, along with gates to contain dogs to certain parts of the house when we're not home. Indoors, our large, open living/family room gives them plenty of space to relax, sleep, or watch TV with us. Knowing how to read a dog's body language is key to keeping them safe — I believe a tired dog is a happy dog. Keeping them mentally and physically entertained also means they're far less likely to get into trouble chewing or destroying things around them.
A typical day
Your dog's day includes plenty of playtime — fetch and running around outside in the backyard, plus indoor play with a variety of toys and chews. We have quiet sidewalks nearby for walks. Dogs are welcome up on the sofa and in bed with us, so they feel right at home. Fresh water and food bowls are always available.
