I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and looking after them has always been a part of my everyday routine. From friends, family, and neighbors often count on me to help out with walks, feedings, baths, or just keeping their dogs company when they’re away. I love getting to know each dog’s personality—whether they’re playful, shy, or just want a calm cuddle—and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their people are gone.

Marissa was amazing — she was able to take my dog, Loko, on very short notice. Communication with her was easy and fast throughout. She took great care of my boy and even made sure to walk him right before I picked him up, which was extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend her.

Marissa has been a true blessing to both me and my dogs. She used to care for my sweet boy Obi Wan Kenobi, and from the very beginning, she treated him with such kindness, love, and patience. He absolutely adored her, and it meant so much to know he was in such gentle, trustworthy hands whenever I was away. When Obi passed, Marissa went out of her way to reach out with so much compassion. She truly understood how much he meant to me, and her kindness during that time is something I’ll never forget. Not long after, she started caring for my other dog, Chewbacca, and once again, she’s been amazing. Chewie is a totally different personality, but Marissa has adapted with such care and enthusiasm. It’s clear she treats each dog as the individual they are. I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who’s not just reliable and responsible, but genuinely loving toward animals.

Schedule
I’m a full-time student, but I keep Fridays through Sundays open for pet care. Weekday afternoons can also be flexible, so I have time to walk, play with, and look after your pups when you need an extra hand.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable, whether they’re staying at my place or I’m visiting yours. At home, I have a fenced yard and open space for them to roam and fun. I always supervise playtime, keep fresh water available, and can crate dogs if that’s what they’re used to. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines so they feel secure and cared for.
A typical day
A typical day with me depends on the dog. We’ll start with a good walk or some playtime to get their energy out. During the day I like to mix in games like fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep them mentally stimulated. There’s always time for belly rubs, treats, and a few cuddle breaks. If your dog enjoys outings, we can take a stroll around the neighborhood or visit a nearby park. I do my best to keep their routine close to what they’re used to, so they feel safe, happy, and loved the whole time.
