I previously worked at a pet resort facility in the Pearland area as an activities counselor! I was responsible to ensure that every pet was given excellent care during their stay with us, and completing all activities(dog walks, personal time in their suites, group plays, making snacks, cuddles) that were assigned for the dayI I was trained to supervised group plays (small and large) and had up to 15 dogs by myself. Working at this facility gave me the opportunity to work with all types of breeds, many types of temperaments. It was so rewarding and such a fun job to have.

Marissa is great, flexible and helpful. Had a last minute shift in work come up and she was able to help out and keep an eye on our Cowboy.
Marissa stayed in our home with our 2 pups and was so great! I found Marissa sort of last minute after our regular sitter had an emergency and had to cancel. I am so glad I found her! She was communicative and my dogs seemed very happy and well cared for when we came back home! I will be happy to use Marissa again.
Marissa was wonderful! We were visiting Houston and staying at a hotel, and she was able to accommodate a last-minute request to care for our two pups right in our room. One senior and one sensitive, so they require extra attention and a gentle, patient touch; and Marissa handled it very well. It’s not easy to find someone willing to work around a traveler’s schedule on short notice while also tending to dogs with particular needs, but Marissa made the whole thing effortless. Our pups were calm and well cared for, and we came back to two happy dogs. We’d absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy, attentive sitter in the Houston area!

Marissa took excellent care of my 3 fur babies and my home. She took extra time to walk my dog with me during our meet and greet. All the fur balls were happy and healthy when I returned home. Marissa is a great communicator as well!

Schedule
I work part-time(usually once/twice a week), so this has most of my undivided attention, I have plenty of time to ensure your pets needs are met.

- Feeding schedule, how long they can be alone, any temperaments or behavioral issues, how they are around other dogs/cats when on walks, any aggressions (food, toys, fence, etc), characteristics/quirks that will help me understand the pet better.
