I totally recommend Marissa! Whenever I'm unable to take on a booking, I always point people her way. She's communicative, flexible, and great with animals :) Even with last-minute requests or tricky pet-sitting situations, Marissa is so open-minded and ready to jump right in. She's new to Rover, but has been walking dogs and looking after pets for over a year now. Definitely give her a try!

Schedule
I’m a full-time student, so I’m not able to be in the home all day, but I make plenty of time for pets in the evenings and overnight. On weekdays, I can arrive around 5pm and stay through the night, though I’ll be away between 8am–5pm. Even with a busy schedule, caring for animals is something I truly love, and I do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for all pets in my care. Dogs get secure walks on leashes, supervised playtime, and plenty of attention, while cats have a calm, comfortable space to relax or play. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and temperament, and follow any special instructions you provide to ensure pets are safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day caring for a dog or cat is all about making them feel loved and comfortable. For dogs, that might look like morning potty breaks, a good walk, playtime, and plenty of belly rubs before settling in for some quiet time. For cats, it’s refreshing their food and water, cleaning the litter box, then spending time with them however they like, whether that’s playing with toys, curling up for cuddles, or just keeping them company. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible while giving them lots of love and attention.

- It’s really helpful for me to know as much as possible about your pet’s routine and needs ahead of time. I also like to know about any quirks, favorite toys, fears (like thunderstorms or vacuums), or habits that help them feel safe. The more details you can share, the better I can make sure your pet feels right at home while you’re away.
