Marissa was very communicative - we appreciated her updates on how our dog was doing. She left the house spotless too. We would love to work together in the future!

If I could give no stars, I would. I’m absolutely disgusted and disappointed with this experience. Marissa had difficulty finding my house for the drop in. I was driving out of town for a last minute business trip, and my usual sitter was booked. Her reviews were great, so I booked a drop in for the weekend. Because she had difficulty finding my house, and I was not responding immediately to her messages, she actually messaged me that she was going to cancel the booking and that would be her last time coming (after she found my house and let my dog out). Of course I was furious. After calling her back, I realized she was slurring her words, interrupting me, and gave me this run around story about how she had a long trip the same day, and my house was too far, etc. I was livid. I was 6 hours away, and now had to find someone else to come to my house and care for my dog, who was crate trained. ON TOP OF THAT, even after threatening to cancel the booking, she took my house key with her to her house. So I then had to call the River emergency line because she would not answer my calls or messages about returning my key. I finally got my brother in law to travel to my house, and had him nearly about to break my window to get to my dog. She still did not answer me, even though the night before, she had told me my key would be back at 8am. I was freaking out. Even Rover could not get her on the phone. She finally dropped my key off a little after 10am. My dog had been in the crate since 10pm the night before. She is irresponsible, and I can’t believe she’s still an option to be booked after all of that.

Marissa took great care of our German Shepard and cat! It was a last minute request and she hadn’t even met us or our furbabies before we had to leave. She was punctual with every visit, kept in touch and updated me three times a day. We will definitely use her again!

Marissa was excellent!! She came and met our dog the day before doing a drop-in visit. Marissa was great with our pup from the second she met him. She was also very knowledgeable and thorough about the Rover experience. This was our first time using Rover, so we had lots of questions and concerns. Marissa put our concerns at ease and she was very easy to communicate with from start to finish. We will definitely be booking with Marissa again.

Marissa was great with our greyhound Uzi. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and treated Uzi incredibly well.
