The best care for your best friend.
I have always loved animals and growing up, I lived with cats. I have owned a variety of pets such as hamsters, fish, hermit crabs and taken care of my neighbors' dogs. I take pride in the level of excellent care of my pets (even as a child!) and always research the best food, practices, toys and other aspects of their care so they are living their best life with me. I was always a responsible child growing up and took pet parenting quite seriously. I was attached to all my pets and would prioritize their needs as a good pet owner. Growing up, I would also pet sit my neighbors' dogs by playing with them, feeding them and cleaning up after them. As a fitness enthusiast, I love taking dogs for walks!

If you know me personally, you would know I am a huge animal lover and am obsessed with my cats. They mean the world to me and as someone who loves her cats as her family, I will treat your fur baby with the utmost respect, love and best care possible. I understand entrusting someone else to care for your fur baby is a big responsibility and I would be honored to do that for you. I will write down all of your instructions, pay close attention to details of your pets' specific needs, tend to their needs during their visit, give them love, clean up after them, feed them, and will try to keep your pets' routines as closely as possible so it is smooth and stress free for them. I know what it is like to go on vacation and how disruptive it can be for your pet. As owners, we worry about their wellbeing and that is a top concern for me as a pet sitter. I am here to comfort, soothe and make your absence less uncomfortable for them. As a dog walker, I will pay the utmost attention to my surroundings, clean up after them and keep them safe away from any potential threats. I take this role quite seriously as your pet is your loved one and I would want mine to be treated in the same manner.

Marissa was wonderful in taking care of Milo. It took him a bit to warm up, but the constant updates & pictures helped me not feel guilty for going away. 5 star sitter and will recommend her and use her again!
Marissa was a huge help looking after our car on short notice for a long weekend trip. She was great with Mowgli and made us feel better knowing he was in good hands. We highly recommend Marissa to look after your furry family members!
Marissa is really detail-oriented, thorough, and thoughtful! Her loving kindness towards my pets is very touching, including trying to connect with my shy cat who mostly hides under the bed, and the photos she sends very much capture my other cats' personalities, so I know they are delighting in her presence. I highly recommend Marissa, and I will continue to rely on her for pet care.
Can’t recommend Marissa enough! I had absolutely no concern or worry about leaving my senior cat in her care. I had full confidence she would care for Wilbur as if he were her own!
Marissa was great! She came in the snow and got the dogs outside for exercise. She did not miss an appt. nor was late. I feel she was very attentive to the dogs, responsive to our text messages and very flexible with our chaotic schedule. I would recommend Marissa as an excellent dog sitter for anyone who needs one! Thank you for your time.

Zeitplan
I currently work from home during the week and am flexible with timing for visits. I am available on weekends as well as holidays as long as I am made aware ahead of time. I appreciate any timing flexibility for visits when considering working with me since I do have other responsibilities.
