Hi there! My name is Marissa, and I absolutely love dogs! Our beloved pup passed in November 2024, and we miss her everyday. I am wanting to have more dogs in my life before we are ready to adopt our next pup. Dogs have always been a part of the family for me- I will treat your dog as my own! We have a house with a fenced yard, doggie door, and comfy couches for your pup to take their naps! My husband and I love being outside, especially when we are with a cutie pup! I am excited to get to know your dog, and care for their specific needs (i.e. diet, exercise, medications, quirks). Please let me know there are any special accommodations or preferences that I can incorporate to make this experience great for both you and your dog. So excited to meet your doggo!

We love Marissa! I was nervous to leave my dog for 2 weeks, since we were going out of the country and had never left him nearly that long before. Marissa put us at ease and sent us regular updates and photos of Hudson. Hudson had an amazing time. She gave him two walks a day and he got to go hiking. Our high energy dog had so much enrichment with her. She was also great about giving him meds. We like that she'll take just your dog so that you don't have to worry about if your dog is getting along with other clients. We are a repeat client and will continue to be.
Marissa was so lovely as always! She takes such sweet care of Jeter and sends me so many updates. He clearly has the best time with her and comes home tired and content. Can’t say enough good things about her and we can’t wait to book with her again!
Marissa was so lovely!! She and her partner took such great care of Jeter. She sent me so many pictures and updates and he looked so happy and relaxed the whole stay. I cannot begin to say enough nice things about Marissa! She was truly an angel! She took such amazing care of my two dogs while we were out of town. She is so sweet, friendly, and kind! My dogs did not want to come back home at the end lol. She was super clear in her communications and flexible with our requests for care and pickup/drop off. Seriously the best care we have received in Denver! Thank you again so so much!

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule- so I will occasionally need to go to the office for a few hours- but most of the time I am working from my home office.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced yard, and live near plenty of walking trails, etc. I am an early riser and like to start my day with a walk (and would love to take your dog out in the morning if that is preferred). I also enjoy going on an evening walk as well and can accommodate whatever your dog's schedule normally is, so we can ease any anxiety they may have! We allow dogs on the furniture- but will stick to whatever your preference is if that isn't something you do at home. We live in a split level house, that does have steps up to the main living area and steps down to the backyard - so if you have an older pup who has a hard time with stairs, i may not be the best fit.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks- we have all sorts of parks and trails around our house, and have easy access to make sure that your pup gets all of the regular exercise that they get at home.
