Doggies home away from home
I have cared for dogs since I was 10 years old and have a genuine love for animals of all kinds. I currently have two dogs of my own, including a rescued shelter dog and a senior dog I’ve cared for since he was just five weeks old. My experience has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or simply making them feel comfortable and at home. My goal is to treat every dog in my care like part of my family. For safety and the best fit, larger dogs are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on temperament. PLEASE REVIEW: I aim to keep scheduling smooth and fair for all clients. (Please keep me in the loop) Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM 15-minute grace period for pickups/drop-offs Late evening pickups (around 9–11 PM or later) may be considered an additional night/extended stay. All schedule changes are communicated and updated through Rover.

So easy to work with and I felt so comfortable having my dog in her care. I loved receiving pictures throughout the day and Marissa was so kind and flexible to let us extend our booking an extra day.

Marissa provided such peace of mind while my little pup, Marci stayed with her. Her responsiveness and warm, welcoming nature is amazing and seeing how relaxed and happy Marci looked in the photos and videos made all the difference. Truly a 5-star service, and we'll be booking with her again without hesitation!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as I work part-time from home, allowing me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. Dogs in my care are rarely left alone and receive regular potty breaks, playtime, and a calm, structured environment. I offer flexible availability throughout the week and most weekends to accommodate your pet’s routine.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, secure home with a fully fenced yard and constant supervision. Dogs are introduced slowly and thoughtfully, and I can separate pets if needed to ensure a calm, safe environment. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, and any specific care instructions. I’m experienced with different temperaments, including senior and rescue dogs. For the safety of all pets, I only accept dogs that are friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable in a home environment. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

When watching pets, it's important to keep them happy, engaged, and well-cared for. Here are some fun activities I'd do with them: Play Fetch: Whether it's a ball, a frisbee, or a toy, dogs usually love to chase after things. Go for Walks: Exploring new surroundings can be exciting for them. Interactive Toys: Puzzles and treat-dispensing toys can keep them entertained.
