Hi, i’m Risa! I’m 28 years old and living in Lakewood with my 5yr old cat named Ponyo. P.S. she’s fully trained to sit, spin and jump! I have had pets from birds and rabbits, to cats and dogs all my life. I have experience walking breeds like Dachshunds, Belgian Malinois, Doodles, and more, as well as many years sitting for both dogs and cats. Additionally, I have my certificate of completion for the Fear Free Program to better help reduce and prevent fear, stress, anxiety, and frustration in pets. I’d love to meet your cats and dogs, and make sure they get all the exercise, stimulation and TLC they need while you’re away!

When meeting cats and dogs for the first time, i’m careful to watch for any behavioral signs that might tell me they need space, or more time to warm up. I know the power of a good treat, and make sure to use plenty so your pet knows i’m their friend! I pay close attention to each animal’s needs and boundaries, and also where they like to be scratched or pet best!

I work remotely for a nonprofit, but I have time to do more, so i’m looking to help care for pets as well! My schedule is flexible, so i’m happy to make your schedule my priority.
