I’m a huge dog and cat lover! (I have one of each). I’ve had a variety of animals all my life and have dog/cat sit (and walked) for a few years now. I currently work with multiple rescues/shelters in my area to rescue, foster and TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) animals in need. I mostly foster cats and kittens so I have a lot of experience dealing with friendly and not-so-friendly cats. I have a lot of experience administering medication whether that’s orally or an injectable. I am also a positive reinforcement force-free dog trainer with over a year of experience.

I am available to come to your house to cat/dog-sit or walk. And I would be more than happy to do a meet and greet before we book anything:) I am a force-free trainer and believe respecting a dogs boundaries are extremely important to gain trust and love which is why i do research on understanding dogs body language; While i would not consider myself an expert, I would label myself as very knowledgeable on dog behavior and training. Every animal is different and has different needs so my prices are my average but depending on your individual animals needs, the price may fluctuate. If you are booking house-sitting but do not need me to sleep in your home, the price will definitely decrease:)

Marissa again did a great job taking care of my kitties Reese and Pumpkin while I was out of town for Thanksgiving for 2 nights. She genuinely loves cats and has a special connection with my kitties. She spent plenty of time sitting and cuddling with my cats so I felt comfortable knowing my cats felt loved and attended to in my absence. Marissa kept everything tidy in my house and left everything as I had left it. Again she followed all instructions to a tee and I look forward to booking her again in the future. Thank you!
Marissa did a great job taking care of my two kitties, Reese and Pumpkin. She followed all instructions to a tee and was respectful of my home and kept things tidy in my absence. She was responsive and communicative and sent extensive photos and videos of her playtime with my babies. She is passionate about cats and works to TNR kitties in our community. My two kitties warmed up to Marissa and I felt safe and comfortable knowing they were under her capable and loving care while I was away for 4 nights. Marissa understands my cat like no other sitter! She sends incredible videos of interactions with him and detailed descriptions of everything she does while she’s there. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!
Another wonderful week of walks
Absolutely wonderful, she does such a great job, Charlie gets a good energetic walk, she is attentive and gives great after walk notes going above and beyond everyday.
Marissa takes pride in what she does and it shows. She has taken excellent care of our dog and we greatly appreciate her always reporting our fur baby’s activities and sending us pictures. She is very reliable, having never missed a day. The two of them bonded from their very first encounter! We just can’t say enough good things about Marissa. She is highly recommend!
