I love learning about each dog’s personality!! It’s helpful to know their routines, feeding schedule, any anxieties, or things they love (toys, walks, cuddles, etc). The more I know, the more comfortable they’ll feel while they’re here :)
A typical day
Our days usually include outdoor time, play, exploring, and lots of attention :) We balance activity with plenty of downtime too …some dogs love to play all day while others prefer relaxing and cuddles, so I follow their rhythm!

Hi everyone, thank you for being here!! I’m a full-time animal caregiver, and one thing that makes my care a little unique is how much attention I pay to animals’ body language and emotional state. Dogs communicate constantly through subtle cues, and I love tuning into that so they feel safe, understood, and relaxed. My goal is to create a calm, happy environment where dogs can play, explore, and be themselves :) Boarding PSA: I recently adopted two sweet pups who were once my clients and are now part of our family!! They’re both small dogs, loving, playful, and very social. They enjoy playtime but are generally calm and welcoming with new dogs, which helps visiting pups settle in comfortably. If your dog enjoys company, attention, and a loving environment, they’ll likely fit right in with us!! I’m always happy to do a meet & greet first to make sure everyone feels comfortable :)

This was my first time leaving my dog for several days, and I used to have to drive all the way to Round Rock for boarding. Luckily, Marissa now offers boarding in my neighborhood. My dog isn’t very social, but she and her dogs welcomed him so warmly. She sent daily pictures, and he looked so happy and comfortable with them. We’ll definitely be back :)
Marissa was absolutely WONDERFUL. She does such a good job checking in on my dog and always sends pics and feedback while in her care. I totally trust my dog in her care. Highly recommend her!
