Safety, trust & environment
I am able to feed and play with your furry friend or if they prefer to just stare and watch me I can accommodate that as well. If your pet has medication requirements I can make sure they get the medications they need whether it is oral or injectable! I am able to provide short walks for pets without a yard & I will scoop litterboxes as needed. Please let me know where cleaning supplies is located in the event of a mess so that I can ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for your pet.
Information Marissa O. would like to know about your pet
Please make me aware of any triggers or specific things that can cause anxiety in your pet. As a vet assistant I handle dogs and cats of all temperaments throughout the day and safety of your pet and myself is my top priority. Please alert me to medical conditions such as diabetes, Addisons disease, seizures, etc. so that I can provide the best care possible to your pet. If your pet needs to be medicated, please list the medications and instructions.
A typical day
I'll make sure your pet is mentally stimulated and will spend time playing with them and can offer some designated treats! If your pet knows tricks or has treat puzzles I'd be happy to do those activities as well.

Pet care experience
I am a first year veterinary student at CSU with many years of animal care/handling experience. I have personally owned cats, dogs, and rabbits. I have around 3 years of experience within the veterinary medicine field as a veterinary assistant caring for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I am very comfortable medicating pets, whether it be pills or injectable meds. Animals are an incredibly large part of my life, evident by my pursuance of becoming a veterinarian. I would love to work with you and your pet!

Reviews

Marissa was great, she was timely and very communicative and knew what she was doing during her visit.

Marissa was very attentive to our kitties while we were away. They both require medication and she administered with no problems! Would highly recommend her for future bookings.

The best dog sitter!!
We have known Marissa for over 6 years. She is a caring, responsible person of integrity who people & animals love, trust, & admire. Our 2 rescue dogs run to the door when we say her name. She takes great care to make sure they are loved, fed, taken out, and receive all of their medication. If we can't be home to care for our fur babies, there is no one else we would rather have looking after & loving them!
