Marissa Ostrowski has spent practically her entire life caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Today, she lives in Fowlerville, MI, with pets of various species! Shortly after graduating high school in 2020, Mercy worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, where she gained plenty of valuable knowledge and experience (including Pet CPR and First Aid and keeping a pet safe in any emergency). Some days, she was responsible for the safety and security of up to 25 dogs at a time. From 2024-2025, Marissa went on to work at a veterinary clinic as a dynamic Kennel Technician. Not only did she gain extensive and valuable pet care knowledge, but she was also assigned to a myriad of tasks around the clinic; primarily, keeping patients safe and comfortable during recovery. Mercy is currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College’s Dog Obedience Instructor program, and works hard to reach her goal of becoming a service animal trainer. She hopes one day to have the opportunity to change many lives for the better, pets and people alike.
