A paws-itive pet experience
Marissa Ostrowski has spent practically her entire life caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Today, she lives in Fowlerville, MI, with pets of various species! Shortly after graduating high school in 2020, Mercy worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, where she gained plenty of valuable knowledge and experience. Some days, she was responsible for the safety and security of up to 25 dogs at a time. From 2024-2025, Marissa went on to work at a veterinary clinic as a dynamic Kennel Technician; primarily, keeping patients safe and comfortable during recovery. She also worked temporarily with a breeder to help care for puppies and their parents and set them up for success. CPR, First-Aid and Fear-Free certified, Mercy is currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College’s Dog Obedience Instructor program, and works hard to reach her goal of becoming a service animal trainer. She hopes one day to change many lives for the better -- pets and people alike.

Pets are supervised at all times while outdoors, even in a fenced-in and/or secured environment. No other animals are brought into a client’s home unless otherwise requested.

Marissa did a great job with my two dogs. This was my first time using a house sitter, so I was a little nervous but Marissa was professional and great! She sent updates and pictures and my dogs were very happy. When I returned the house was nice and tidy just as I left it. Most importantly, Molly and Baxter loved Marissa and were happy and relaxed when I returned. I would definitely recommend Marissa and will be using her for future dog walks and travel.
Wow! Marissa was awesome! Our puppy is shy and skittish, but she was able to gain his trust quickly. She followed instructions, went above and beyond and was very trustworthy. Marissa is also awesome with communication.
Marissa has been wonderful! She has gone above and beyond to take care of my kitty cats. She is very detailed and professional, and I always look forward to her updates!
