Information Marissa M. would like to know about your pet

I don't have any breed restrictions! All dogs are welcome as long as they are non-aggressive and good with children. We want our furry friends to be happy, whether it be playing, giving kisses and cuddles, going for a walk or laying in the sun! We would like guests to be house trained and up to date on all vaccines, flea and tick and heartworm medication. Since I want all dogs to feel at home, I'd like to know anything that will help them have a great experience...sleeping habits, likes / dislikes, typical schedule, etc.

A typical day

I am happy to follow any guidelines you set forth for your fur baby. Our dogs enjoy walks, chasing kids around the house, looking for bunnies out back, slurping up cold water and cuddling with mommy and daddy. Although we don't have a fenced yard, we spend a lot of time outdoors and your pets will be a part of the fun! Whatever your pet needs, we are happy to accommodate. We do ask for a crate to accompany your pet, in the event they have recurring accidents or aren't getting along with another dog and need brief periods to relax.

Pet care experience

My name is Marissa and there is nothing I love more than cuddles with my dogs (and my humans)! I grew up in a home where we constantly rescued dogs and that love has only grown stronger. My family jokes that I'm not allowed at the animal shelter or I'd come home with every dog there! It's probably true... My husband PJ and I live in a safe & dog-friendly neighborhood with our 5 kids & 3 dogs. I am part time teacher, so your pet will get all the attention he or she could want! We are home a lot of the day. We all love doggy kisses & cuddles! Let us shower your dog with lots of love, playtime and affection while you're away. Your dog will come away feeling like another part of our family. Meet and greets are required before a stay. Thank you for understanding. Dropoff times: Flexible after 8am Pickup flexible before 8pm If you dropoff @9am, you must pickup by 9am or a daycare charge will be added.

The other reviews are correct about Marissa. She updated me every day and I could tell Harriet has been so loved.

Absolutely wonderful service! Marissa is very attentive to every detail and an excellent communicator. We received pictures every day and knew our pets were safe and cared for. I plan to have her become our regular pet minder.

Marissa took care of our dog and two cats in my home over a long weekend, and I could not have asked for a better pet sitter. She took excellent care of our animals and sent us photos and updates so I did not have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend her and will definitely contact her the next time we travel.

Marissa has watched my pups twice so far and I couldn’t be happier with the service she has provided. Marissa provides regular updates with pictures as well as flexibility with pick up/drop off times. She also treats my dogs as if they’re part of her family and they get plenty of cuddles and play time. I will continue to pet sit with Marissa in the future!
