Since I was in high school I have gone into people's homes and taken care of their dogs and cats. I believe that animals should be left in their own environment to reduce stress while their loved ones are away. If you are looking for someone who will play hard and love your furry family members while you were gone I am your girl! Your pets comfort and safety is my #1 concern. I follow your specific plan for your pet's routine and their specific needs including, feeding schedule, walking, potty breaks, potential medication regimen and more. I pride myself in my love for animals and the care and respect provided to them and your home. I can't wait to get to help you with your pets!

We hired Marissa to house and dog sit for us for 9 days in May. Marissa was incredibly patient with our recently adopted and reactive shelter pup Nala (border collie mix). We appreciated the daily texts and pictures with updates on how Nala was adjusting to our absence and how much fun she was having with Marissa. It was clear our dog was getting the outside time, teddy bear tug-of-war, and couch snuggles she needs. Marissa asked great questions and left the house just as tidy as when we handed it over. After four days, and in coordination with Marissa, we felt confident heading out of cell service to go camping for two days. We recommend Marissa for her patience, care, loving nature, and attention to detail. Nala would love to hang out with Marissa again.

I was soooo nervous leaving my dogs with someone they didn’t know, we had to leave for almost a week and Marissa watched our home and pets for us. Amazing would be an understatement!!! She kept in touch daily with photos and texts, always making sure I knew things were being well handled. She asked questions about things I didn’t even think of, like what day our garbage goes out and if I wanted her to get the mail etc. she left the house in great condition and was so kind and sweet to the dogs, pretty sure they didn’t even miss us!!!! Highly recommend Marissa!
I’ve had Marissa watch my cat a few times and he’s always very happy and cared for. Everything about my experience has been great! I plan to use her in the future for all my pet sitting needs.
Marissa has watched my fur baby many times for years now. Sometimes just quick overnight trips other times several weeks. The dog is always happy and well cared for when I get home! She loves Marrissa! I intend to use her for many more years to come!
