Orlando Dog Mom & Animal Advocate!
Hello, Orlando pet parents! 🐶🐱💗 I am a longtime pet advocate, with a love for the happiness & well-being of animals. I have been lucky enough to have 3 dogs to love in my lifetime so far, and countless fosters & pets of friends I have cared for as well. The love of my life is Samson, my 13 yo Yorkie/ShihTzu mix. He has taught me so much about what it takes to earn the trust & love of a rescue, which I take with me whenever meeting a new furry friend. All animals deserve patience & kindness. While I haven’t had a cat of my own - I had the sweetest roommate cat, named Honda & have helped care for him & our best friend’s 3 kitties for close to 10 years. I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I am comfortable administering medication in oral form. I am also trained in bladder/bowel expression for small dogs, as I helped care for a neighbor’s sweetie disabled Dachshund. We recently moved to Orlando from Davenport, so I am excited to meet all the good boys & girls living here! I work regular office hours nearby & will be prioritizing evening walks/check ins, as well as weekend availability where possible. Each pet has their own individual needs & personality. I always ensure I take my time getting to know each dog or cat to gain their trust to care for them best. Having fostered & adopting a rescue has taught me a great deal about animal body language & how to/not to approach pets and show them love. Safety is also always key! I ensure I’m aware of their unique needs.

Harmonogram
I currently work FT office hours (9-5). I am typically available for PM walks/drop-ins. If I am sitting for you during week days: depending on how far you’re located from work - I can stop by for a potty break on my lunch break, but otherwise would return to care for them immediately after work. Weekend availability is flexible & varies - please reach out for more details based on the dates your pets need care!
