Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve done my entire life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid, and I’ve always been the person who notices the animals before anything else. Growing up, I was the kid who would walk into someone’s home and greet their pets before I even said hello to the people. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and have never been able to pass by an animal in need without wanting to help. That lifelong passion eventually became a career. I have 11 years of professional veterinary experience, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their behavior, needs, routines, and individual personalities. I’m also knowledgeable about many different species, so I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals. More Than a Sitter With my veterinary background and lifelong experience around animals, I bring a level of awareness and attentiveness that I believe makes a real difference. I’m observant, patient, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every animal entrusted to my care. Most importantly, I treat your pets like individuals—not just another booking. When you’re away, you shouldn’t have to worry about whether your pets are being loved, cared for, and understood. You know your baby best, and I will respectfully follow your instructions, routines, preferences, and expectations for their care. Whether your pet needs a specific feeding schedule, extra patience, medication, a certain walking routine, or simply lots of love and companionship, I’ll make sure their care is tailored to them. My goal is never to simply “watch” your pet. I want them to have such a positive experience that their time away from you feels more like a vacation than a separation.

Marissa was an absolute life saver for us. We had a situation come up where we needed a sitter ASAP, and she bent over backwards to come up with solutions that made our sitting experience even possible. My girls had an amazing time playing at various parks, and were delighted by the time and attention that Marissa and her little one showered on them. They came home with happy exhaustion, and I am so thankful to have found Marissa!

Marissa was great with our little Lucky. We were unsure of his interaction with other dogs but she managed the situation well. She sent us pictures and kept us updated about his progress. She has a wonderful personality and we highly recommend her.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule, and am willing to work with you. As of the moment, I am mostly free and able to work any day of the week.

- Their temperament. How they are around other animals, people etc. just so I know if it’s okay to bring your dog out to a public setting for a walk or if you would prefer them to stay at their home.
