Availability
I work from remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I’m generally available: • Early morning walks • Midday drop-ins •Evening walks or check-ins Because of this flexibility, I can be reliable and consistent—something I know is important for both dogs and owners.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, structure, and clear communication. I’m very aware of things like heat, overstimulation, and surroundings on walks, especially in areas like Florida where conditions can change quickly.
Information Marissa K. would like to know about your pet
To give your dog the best care possible, I like to know: •Any behavioral tendencies (pulling, reactivity, anxiety, etc.) •Feeding instructions and dietary restrictions •Allergies or sensitivities •Preferred walking setup (harness, collar, etc.) •Energy level and typical routine The more I know, the better I can make your dog feel comfortable, safe, and happy.
A typical day
I like to keep dogs both physically and mentally engaged, based on what they enjoy most. Activities can include: •Structured walks with time to sniff and explore •Play sessions (fetch, tug, or their favorite toys) •Light training reinforcement (great for puppies or energetic dogs) •Enrichment-style activities like simple games or using their food/treats for engagement For higher-energy dogs, I make sure they leave the visit feeling satisfied and relaxed. For more laid-back dogs, I match their pace and focus more on comfort and companionship. My goal is always the same: a happy, calm, and well-cared-for dog by the end of every visit.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life, from small to medium breeds, and currently care for my own dog, who I’ve raised and trained from a young puppy. Through that experience, I’ve developed strong, hands-on skills in daily care, structure, and behavior. I’m very comfortable with: •Puppies (potty training routines, structure, basic commands) •High-energy dogs who need both physical and mental stimulation •Dogs with sensitivities or allergies that require extra attention •Reinforcing basic training like leash manners, sit, wait, and recall I’m also experienced using a variety of leash setups and tools (standard leash, harnesses, gentle leads, long lines, etc.), so I can confidently handle different walking styles and needs. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs, I engage with them. Whether that’s structured walks, play, or reinforcing good habits, I make sure your dog is safe, stimulated, and cared for.
Reviews
Bentley loves going on walks with Marissa! She took great care of him and was always enthusiastic about the walks herself, will definetly have her walk with Bentley again!
