I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :).

Marissa provided housesitting and care for our shy cat Maggie—she was wonderful! She knew how to connect with Maggie, and was very responsive and responsible while we were away, sending multiple photos and updates. Maggie seemed to be very comfortable with Marissa, and so were we!
Marissa was great with our pup! Great communication and took good care of our house.
Marissa took care of our large Maine Coon cat while we were on vacation . She was an excellent care taker . She completed daily box cleans, showed compassion and concern with her regular communications while we were away. Coming home was a breeze. Marissa is a pet parent through and through! She’s excellent at reading pet behaviors, allowing her to provide exactly what each pet needs! She has so much love in her heart for animals of all kinds.
