Hi, my name is Marissa! Aside from taking care of a cat, dog, and two guinea pigs growing up, I have the experience and training from being with a pet sitting company for 3 years and working on my own after that for 4. I was the cat specialist with the company and had high ratings from all my clients. I’ve cared for dogs/cats of all sizes and breeds and I’ve even taken care of Axolotl’s! I’ve also administered meds, as well as eye drops, for dogs and cats. I’ve got the skills and knowledge of care to be your next pet sitter!

Marissa has the highest recommendation I can give for a pet caregiver. I travel a lot and have a complex cat living situation. Marissa has been caring for my cats for the past 6 years (4 different cats; each with their own challenges). I have two personality challenged kitties who need medication daily, one with asthma and another who had cancer. All the cats love Marissa. She has experience in giving them oral medications, ear and eye drops as well as breathing treatments. Marissa has done a fantastic job with them at all times, and especially when they have been sick. She is extremely professional, responsible and caring and I trust her completely. Most importantly, my cats love and trust her. Marissa is simply the best.
I would get a lot of anxiety leaving my senior doggo at home. I also have a very social cat that likes to be around people. It was easy to find someone to just show up and let the dog out to potty but it was very difficult to find someone who would spend quality time with both pets. Marissa is the *only* person we trust to stay overnight. She’s been very reliable, communicative, and we feel so at ease knowing she’s around. We’re so grateful that she’s been petsitting for our family for years now. Plus we get the cutest photos and updates. I highly recommend her to watch your fur babies so you can travel without worry.
Marissa has been my go to for the past 8+ years when it comes to my fur babies! (Fun fact: my oldest is in her profile picture!! Adorbs isn’t it?) Leaving my dogs behind while I am out of town is never easy, but I always know that they are excited to see Marissa and are perfectly taken care of. It’s a really nice feeling knowing that they don’t miss me too much because they are having so much fun cuddling with their favorite dog sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently off for the summer since I am an educator so I have time for visits! The schedule is flexible at the moment and I have availability.

I care for my clients pets in their home by making sure their pets’ routine is followed and they have everything they need. I know sometimes pets can get anxious when their pet parents are away, so I make sure to go at the pets pace with what attention they’re comfortable with!
Pets
A typical day
If you have puzzle games and toys I can set up the puzzles and let them have a blast! If you have a high energy dog I can run around with them and play with whatever toy they love the most. If your pet enjoys being brushed I love to do that for them as well!
