Animals are my people!
I have both personal and professional experience taking care of animals. My experience has been primary with dogs and cats, however, I have looked out for turtles, fish and birds as well. I have a passion for learning and understanding animals. My experience also comes from volunteering with the Humane Society and a local shelter helping caring and socializing cats and dogs. I understand the stress that comes with getting good care for your beloved pet, therefore I take great pride in caring for them as if they are my own. Other hobbies include reading and watching reality TV with my pup.

Marissa did an awesome job taking care of my dog for 10 days. This was the first time we left him for a long period of time and he did great. He got a lot of attention and love, and he hesitated coming back home since he had so much fun! She also took care of him for a few weeks in the past for daily day care, and he had a blast! He used to get so excited going into the car every day to go to her house.
Marissa was great with my anxious pup Archie. She treated him like her own and kept me updated throughout his stay. Extremely nice and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!
She is really awesome! It is my first experience and my dog needed boarding immediately because of my business travel. but she responded very quickly even if I requested about 7am. It was very appreciated. She also has a dog and cat. They were very nice to him.( Thank you guys!) Her house condition was good enough for boarding dog. Clean and organized. I am so happy to find perfect place at once. I think I am lucky.
This was my first official visit with Marissa after our meet and greet. Bella and Opie had their first overnight and everything went very well. Marissa sent photos and kept in touch during their stay. When I picked them up the next day, they were very comfortable in her house and Opie actually ran up on their sofa as if he actually lived there! They were happy and content and got along well with Marissa's dog. Marissa took them out often and went on a walk which was appreciated but not expected just for a quick overnight stay. I would definitely use Marissa again. She is caring and truly loves animals. The more important thing for me is that Marissa would take Opie and Bella again! I am happy that they were well-behaved and got along and felt comfortable in her home. Very happy that we met and look forward to hiring her again in the future.
Excellent care! You can tell Marissa really cares. Lots of pictures, walks. Definitely would recommend her !!
Marissa was very caring and loving with my dog. And she speaks Spanish, which helped a lot with my dog, since he only “barks in Spanish” 😋

I don’t have a fenced in yard, so all potty breaks will be done on leash. I have the space to crate if needed, but will need to provide your own.

I love keeping dogs stimulated. I enjoy giving them walks to explore all the new smells and surroundings. I also enjoy playing a wide range of games and providing stimulating puzzles.
