My Rabbit Won’t Let Me Get A Dog
I was lucky enough to grow up in a house that loved dogs on a block that loved dogs. As a kid and a teenager, i enjoyed the routine of coming home to walk my own dog, and then walking and visiting my neighbors dogs. As an adult, Ive had the pleasure of walking my neighbors, family and friends dogs; as well as dog sitting while they are away. There is a peace that comes from spending time with animals that is unmatched for me; the combination of routine, novelty, and unspoken connection is my respite!

Since we have a rabbit and a very emotionally sensitive cat—unfortunately we can’t host animals at our home at this time. However, I am happy to come to your home for a day to make sure your babies feel safe and accompanied while you’re away! I am a very routine and detail oriented person, and look forward to keeping the structure your pet is used to while you’re out. I also love to play, get silly, and am happy to give lots of pets and scratches ! unfortunately, i am not offering overnight services at this time, but am happy to stay late and arrive early.

Marissa has always been someone my dog gravitated towards as she was always so sweet and kind to him. She always did a great job watching our boy and taking him on walks. She’s truly one of his favorite humans and he doesn’t like many.
Marissa is an exceptional pet lover and person. She has had pets most of her young life (currently including her beloved bunny) and cares for them as she would care for another human being. She used to petsit and walk my dog, Ernie, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge and was caring and reliable. If I were to apply for pet care now, I would hope that it would be Marissa!
Marissa is an incredible human being. She was our nanny for three years and took care of our four animals when we have had to be out of town. One time, we were in France and had a medical emergency that left us stranded for over two weeks! Marissa was only scheduled for one of those, but knowing the pets were in good hands, let us concentrate on getting home. We cannot recommend her enough. She is responsible, dedicated, and loving.

Schedule
i work school hours a few days a week, and I am always looking to get moving during my day. I have flexibility for morning walks before 8am, availability for daytime walks after 3pm and can also coordinate evenings.
