Hi, I’m Marissa! I would be happy to hang out with your pet, take them for a walk, or host them at my place! I have loved and cared for animals since I was little. My mom was always rescuing and bringing home dogs and cats from the street or dangerous homes (itwas rare if we ever had less than 3 pets in the house). I have a 5-year-old dog of my own who is super playful, friendly, loving, active, and a little sassy. I know what it’s like to wake up and take her out for a 45 min+ walk - rain or shine, energy or no energy - as well as trying every trick to get her to stop being picky and eat some dinner. I rescued her at only 16-weeks-old, so I have first-hand experience with caring for, and house-training, a puppy.

I would care for your pets the same way I care for my own, and my friend’s: lovingly, patiently, kindly, and safely (also fun - have to have some fun!). I would diligently follow all of your asks & your pet’s individual set of needs to ensure all parties feel comfortable. I would absolutely respect your space should I care for your pet in the comfort of their own home.

Schedule
I only have to work in the office 3 days a week, and I get to pick those days, so my schedule can be pretty flexible (especially if you are comfortable with your pup walking with mine). I travel here and there but I’m a pretty local NYC gal, so I will probably be here the weekend you are out!
