I’ve taken care of every kind of animal since I was young. I’ve always grown up with multiple dogs in my home, and even a few other critters. :) I am well versed in potty training and do not mind helping you with that. I also took care of my terminally ill dog up until December when he sadly passed away, so I am also well versed in caring for pets at end of life or that may need special attention.

Marissa is an excellent pet sitter. This was our first time using a pet sitter overnight for our dogs and it went so much more smoothly than I could have asked for. She made sure our pets were treated like family. We had a hard time getting our one dog to leave! She communicates well and is very engaged with the dogs. We will be using her the next time we go out of town and I’m sure our dogs cannot wait!

Schedule
I am a supervisor for CVS & currently WFH M-F. Therefor, I am home at all times to care for your pets. We spend lots of our afternoons outside, or snuggling on the couch. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to step away at any time to care for my home and pets as needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I have medium sized 4ft fenced in yard, and one sweet fur baby to keep your pet company. He is extremely friendly and loves new friends. He is about 15lb, neutered, Cairn Terrier. He spends some of his days at doggy day care socializing so he would love a pet friend to stay with him at home. Your pet will have access to outdoors whenever they should choose, no doggy door for safety purposes, but if they want outside, their wish is my command! I am able to let your pet sleep with me, or crate them at night. Whatever you prefer! I am extremely flexible with my schedule to ensure your pet has access to whatever they need at any time!

A typical day
We will spend time on walks around Benton Park, tossing a toy around in my back yard, & lots of snuggling and hanging out. I also try to provide stimulating activities throughout the day depending on how your pet responds.
