I do currently work part time as a dog groomer at a dog facility but I have the flexibility in my schedule to leave work during the day to come home and take the dogs out for mid day breaks. They are never left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time and I have a doggy cam that I keep an eye on them with!

Safety, trust & environment

I have two dogs of my own that I keep separate from any dogs boarding for safety and health purposes. Any pets that board in my home will have access to a room all to themselves. I provide crates if pets are more comfortable sleeping in one. In regards to crates and safety, I do require that they can be safely crated or gated to one room if we need to leave the house. I do a minimum of three outside breaks a day. But for the most part I typically try to follow the routine that the dogs are already used to at home.

Information Marissa C. would like to know about your pet

Normal daily routine, activities, and schedules! If there are any special needs or medications needed is the most important. Then feeding schedule and veterinarian info such as up to date vaccines and flea/tick medication!

A typical day

Physical and mental stimulation is very important and I try to include that in every dogs stay! I do it for my own dogs daily with puzzle boards and walks and 15-20 minute basic training sessions. Always try to keep their minds busy!

Pet care experience

I have been caring for animals big and small for many years now. Though I love all dogs, I find myself focusing a lot on dogs that have a hard time in kennel settings. I also work really well with reactive dogs and seem to click with them more easily than others. I provide a safe space for them in my home that allows their boarding time away from family to be as stress free as possible!

Marissa was so kind and great to our dog Red. Her children were so sweet to him, we could tell red really enjoyed his time with them.

Thank you for taking care of Bella! I'm glad she was able to fit in with your family and made an impact. It was good knowing she was in good hands and had some friends to hang out with!!! :-D

Marissa and her family were amazing! We received daily updates and photos and heard all about their adventures together! What a great first Rover experience! She took great care of my big girl! I will definitely be using her again!
