Growing up we always had dogs and my dad let me help train and take care of them. I took a class learning how to train and work with guide dogs for the blind. We also had a wide variety of pets growing up so I have hands on experience with a lot of different types of animals. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Animal Science and have interned/volunteered in vet hospitals, wildlife rehab facilities, as well as the Abilene Zoo. I have 2 dogs of my own, one who is a heeler mix named Bailey and a mountain cue named Bella! I am currently working as a zookeeper so my schedule can be a bit busy but feel free to reach out and hopefully I can help care for your furry, scaley, or feathery friends!

Marissa went the extra mile to ensure our pets had the interaction they needed to make it through a lengthy weekend. She was even able to introduce toys that our older dog seemed to have an interest in. I would absolutely recommend her and do intend to use her services again, should the need arise.

Marissa was great and kept us informed on how our pooch was doing with lots of pictures and updates. She was also flexible with our drop off and pick up times when our plans changed, which was greatly appreciated!
We dropped her off Friday morning and she was nothing but sweet! She kept me updated on everything going on, how well she was doing and sending me cute pictures of my baby enjoying herself! At first I was a little nervous but she helped me overcome that. She took very good care of my baby. I highly recommend Marissa!
