I love all animals and wanted to start a Rover to share that love with your babies while giving you an affordable option for that care. I have a friendly, well-behaved golden retriever who just turned 4 (he is neutered) and have loved on him and trained him since he was a puppy, and together we obtained his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and Therapy Dog certifications.

We always trust our two goldens with Marissa. They have such a great time with her two goldens, and she takes excellent care of them. She also sends lots of photos and videos. It's like a vacation for them!
Marissa is a wonderful Dogsitter. Our golden loves hwe 2 dogs and they seem to have a great time together. Marissa is very accommodating and helped us out when our plans changed a little bit. She sends regular updates and photos. We drive over an hour to leave our dog with her as she’s totally worth it!

Schedule
I work from home, and being home all day helps tremendously when it comes to pet care, as they never have to worry about being left alone! We have our routine in the morning with breakfast and playtime, and they’re allowed in and out as they please throughout the day. I often have “feet warmers” aka fur babies under my desk while I work, and beside my bed at night!

I have a large fenced yard and live in a great neighborhood for walking! I also have a large sunroom set up as a dog playroom that the pups can use, which leads out to the back yard that they can romp around in as often as they want throughout the day. Between myself, my husband, and my 3 children (ages 14, 10, and 6) there will be so much love and attention for your pups, just like you would give at home. My Golden Retriever is a submissive, well-socialized boy who has gotten along with every dog he’s ever met. Food is always given separately for safety!

A typical day
I have a perfectly sized fenced-in yard for zoomies, watching the birds and squirrels, or playing fetch! Since I work from home, the pups will always be able to go out for potty breaks and outdoor play sessions throughout the day. I go on two 1 mile walks per day, will treat your pet like my own, and be happy to provide as many updates and pictures as you’d like during their stay.
