I have been doing Rover for 4y now and absolutely love it!! I wish I could do it full-time. I once was asked to watch someone’s indoor pot-belly pigs and that was a dream come true! Growing up, I was always the neighborhood pet caretaker. I have experience house sitting dogs, cats, and birds. I have also volunteered at Aark wildlife rehab center in Chalfont, PA. I had a dog of my own and would’ve done anything for her. Dogs are my favorite animals, so I would do anything for any dog. I am very responsible and graduated college magna cum laude. I will treat your dog with respect. I offer a calm, gentle, empathetic approach which is especially good for anxious dogs. I understand that dogs have feelings too and are very intelligent beings that deserve no less than the best. All animals deserve an advocate and love. Taking care of any pet would bring me happiness. I do best with low energy dogs (senior dogs preferred!), but I have an understanding for all types of dogs needs and can adapt. I do enjoy having variety with the pets I watch! I love to travel so am willing to travel anywhere from 30m-1h out of my listed location.

Marissa was wonderful with our large-breed Bernedoodle. He was so well cared for, and we received regular updates during our 5-day vacation. Marissa was a new sitter to Benny, but she jumped right in and loved him up. The house was perfectly cared for. We will definitely use her again!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I CAN have pets in my apartment. Dogs will have to be kept in a crate while I am out of the house, but cats will be confined to just my bedroom. Dogs cannot have separation anxiety and cry while I am away bc of my neighbors. If you live in the city, I require you have a designated parking spot or a guest permit for me to use. I will care for your pets as if they were my best friends because I love animals!

A typical day
I will play games with them, take them on walks, to parks, car rides, and teach them tricks. Cuddles and keep their routine. Hikes and for ice cream!

- I would prefer to know if the dog is high energy, if they jump a lot, if they bark a lot, what triggers them, if they are counter surfers, trash-diggers, if they are territorial, separation anxiety/cry when left alone, how they do on walks, how they are for car rides, how they are at the vet, if they have ever bitten, if they mind their paws getting wiped, if they have food sensitivities, if they are a flight risk, what time they usually wake up, and if they are dog aggressive or not.
