I work Monday-Friday 9 to 5 but I’m able to come home for a break and let my own dog out and make sure she is okay as well. I could certainly do extra drop ins for your fur baby as well.

I treat the animals like my own. I use crates for sleeping if the dog is new to my house. My hope would be to see them more than once and hopefully they get acclimated to my home to not have to use one if the owners would prefer that. I want them to be safe and comfortable. I feed all the dogs separately. They are able to play in the yard freely but supervised. If I’m not at work multiple potty breaks throughout the day. I do not let animals free roam together if I’m not home due to safety concerns but I have several dog gates and areas of my home they can stay in so they’re not always crated.

A typical day
I like to play with the dog in my yard, usually playing fetch or tug o war. They have a deck to lay on and shade from my flowers and trees when they want to cool off.

I’ve worked in kennels and groomers since I was 18 and began dog sitting around that time as well. I took a break after I got my RN license but I feel like I’m at a good point in my career to help some others in need again. I can’t wait to meet some new furry faces!

Thank you again for watching Chief. I really appreciate you taking him in and caring for him while I was away. As we've discussed, it seems our expectations might not have fully aligned with what I outlined in his profile, especially around how often he needs bathroom breaks and shouldn’t be left alone for long periods. I completely understand that schedules can be tricky, and I think this might just be one of those situations where a different match through Rover would’ve worked better for both sides.
