I graduated from college this past May and will be starting graduate school in San Francisco in late August! Until then, my schedule is very flexible. I work a part-time sales job, but my hours vary from week to week, so I have plenty of availability during both weekdays and weekends. I also have a car, making it easy for me to get to your home or take your dog on adventures to fun walking spots around the city. Once my graduate program begins, my class schedule is: August 25 – October 18 * Monday & Wednesday: 10:00–11:50 a.m. and 1:10–3:00 p.m. * Tuesday & Thursday: 1:10–3:00 p.m. October 21 – December 17 * Monday & Wednesday: 10:00–11:50 a.m. and 1:10–3:00 p.m. * Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00–11:50 a.m. and 1:15–3:00 p.m. Outside of those class times, I have a flexible schedule and am happy to work around your pet’s routine. I’m reliable, responsive, and would love to provide your pup with plenty of attention, exercise, and care!

While I don’t always have pets at my home, I can occasionally care for them there. I’m also happy to offer pet walking and house sitting services at your place. Whether your dog has a fenced yard or not, I make sure they get regular bathroom breaks and plenty of walks throughout the day. I always focus on giving them lots of exercise, playtime, and attention. Of course, I’ll follow your feeding instructions and keep their water fresh and available.

It’s important for me to know if the dog has any dietary restrictions, or if they show aggression toward children, adults, or other dogs. It’s also helpful to understand if they have any anxieties, whether that’s about certain noises or specific situations inside or outside the house, so I can make sure they’re comfortable and safe.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active and entertained with all kinds of activities. Whether it’s playing catch, tug-of-war, or fun games inside and outside the house, I make sure they get plenty of engagement. I also enjoy taking them on walks. One of my favorite spots is Golden Gate Park, especially the JFK Promenade, which is perfect for exploring and playing.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. My family got our first dog when I was 5 years old, and ever since, I’ve been hands-on in making sure our pups are happy, healthy, and loved. From feeding, fresh water, and daily walks to regular potty breaks, I’m experienced in all the essentials. I also enjoy giving them extra care with baths, brushing, and plenty of playtime. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I treat every one like they’re my own.

Marisa is amazing!! My dog is very reactive towards other dogs on walks and can take a second to warm up to people, but she always cares for him with such patience and gives us helpful updates!
