I work as a surgical nurse with an early schedule, so I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 0630-1500. I’m available most weekends for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care depending on the situation. Because of my schedule, I’m very consistent and used to structured routines, so I’ll make sure your pet stays on their normal feeding, walking, and medication schedule. I’m happy to communicate frequently and send updates so you feel comfortable while you’re away!

Your dog will enjoy a balanced, fun, and relaxed day in my care. We’ll have supervised playtime in the fenced backyard, walks around my safe neighborhood, and plenty of time to rest and recharge indoors. I tailor activity levels to each dog, like whether they love to play or prefer a calmer, more relaxed environment. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

Hi! I’m Marisa 😊 I’m a registered nurse who genuinely loves having dogs around, and I treat every pup like they’re my own. I offer boarding in my house for one client at a time with a large fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime and relaxing. I’ve cared for dogs for friends, family, and coworkers for years, and I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, from energetic pups to shy or senior dogs who just want a calm, cozy space. I also live with a partner that helps me take care of the pets, so you can rest easily knowing your pet is getting all the love and attention they could possibly need! Because of my nursing background, I’m very attentive and detail-oriented. I’m comfortable giving oral medications, following specific care instructions, and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or health. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means sticking to their normal routine, getting plenty of exercise, or just lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel at home. I work early shifts (6:30am–3pm, Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri), so I’m used to structured routines and consistency. I’m available most weekends and can often accommodate different schedules depending on your needs. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing. Marisa truly went above and beyond in caring for my dog. From the moment I met her, I could tell how much she genuinely cared about his well-being. While he was staying with her, she sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind and helped ease my anxiety about being away from him. Knowing he was safe, happy, and well cared for meant the world to me. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. If she's available for my next trip, I will absolutely book with her again without hesitation. If I could give more than five stars, I would give her one hundred. Highly, highly recommended!
Marisa sent me photos every day and took care of Popo with so much love. Popo seemed to be doing so well that I almost felt like she forgot about me. Because of that, I was able to enjoy our family trip without any worries. If we travel again in the future, I would definitely leave Popo with Marisa again.
